The logic of that is a little fuzzy in the article, but the work I have been doing recently on leadership does identify Technical Expertise as a leadership skill. So it's probably a good idea to think about your digital skills. MOOCS, services like Lynda.com or Udemy, or the free workshops at General Assembly (or their equivalent wherever you are) could be a good place to start.
